Live a life full of humility, gratitude, intellectual curiosity, and never stop learning.

Finding beauty in the ordinary.
We honor the place we occupy, the stolen and colonized lands of the Mescalero Apache.
We care for 52 acres of desert grass, sage brush, mesquite trees, Hopi grasshoppers, small brown bats, tarantulas, jackrabbits, snakes, cranes, owls, hawks, song birds, turtles, tortoises, and wild flowers. We tend to a small community of alpacas, a family of cattle, dogs, hives of bees, milking goats and frequently host sheep. We are dedicated to protecting and preserving the balance of wildlife and animal husbandry where we are building our lives.
We are learning new skills and making our way through life, little by little.
